Bloomsbury a go go...
Welcome baby!
We brought a little vintage flare to Nicole's baby shower.
Last spring we started to get the word out that we were ready to party.
Gathering up our pretty things and bringing them along to create a vintage meets modern party feel for our customers.

Amy's Visit
What a delightful visit we had with Amy Butler. We were all a little nervous, but she made us feel completely comfortable. She just has a warm and sincere personality that is a pleasure to be around.
Of course the sweets make every party a success.
We were so happy that another Bloomsbury "sister" made the trip for our party.
Gina left the shop a couple years ago when she moved to the Cleveland area. We love her creative flare. Check back for details on her awesome barn sale that will be coming up in May. You gotta love a barn sale....especially one like this.
This is some awesome barn.

On your mark, get set....sew
After a crash course (again) with my partner Karla,
I decided to make my first pillow.
Cutting,
Ironing,
Pinning....got it.
trim from Sew to Speak....got it
Help and excitement from Mr. Biggelsworth ....
not "sew" much.
Lucy is so nervous, she can hardly watch.
And we have my first throw pillow!
Don't look too close or you'll see my flaws.
An emergency phone call to Karla and she explains that, yes there is a problem, but it can be fixed. (I need to invest in a seam ripper quick)
Whew...sweat on my brow. This sewing stuff is pretty intense.
But I'm on my way.
When I grow up, I want to be Karla then Amy Butler, then I will rule....
But until then, you can find me and my perfectly imperfect pillow @ my favorite place to be and create, Bloomsbury Loft
See you Thursday February 12th at the open house.
Keep sewing or get started soon.
